As temperatures drop and the leaves start to change, I always get a craving for warming spices like cinnamon, cloves, etc. So when Jiva Organics offered to send me their Organic Whole Cloves to review, I knew exactly which recipe I would use to test them! Russian tea has been a holiday tradition in my family for years and has as many variations as there are women in my family. Keep reading for my recipe (a great way to use Jiva Organics Whole Cloves!), which is also great ready in the fridge to help ward off fall/winter colds.

Pour boiling water over tea bags and steep 10 minutes.

My first impression of Jiva Organics Organic Whole Cloves was how good they smell! As soon as I opened the bag, a wonderful clove smell wafted out into the room. I use whole cloves a lot for fall and holiday baking so it’s important to me that my spices be highest quality – nothing ruins a good recipe more than a spice that can’t pull its weight! I love that Jiva Organics Organic Whole Cloves are organic and free of nasty pesticides and chemicals. After trying them out in our first batch of Russian Tea of the season, I am happy to report that they taste as good as they smell!
Bottom Line: I was very favorably impressed with the quality of Jiva Organics Organic Whole Cloves and the philosophy behind the brand and would recommend them to a friend.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
